Anorexia

For celebs being in the spotlight, on camera, and idols in the eyes of others it is difficult for them sometimes to feel that they look good enough to play the part. Many celeberties in this day and age are suffering from the sickness of anorexia. It is a serious illness that is more of mental illness then anything else. Not only is this a big part of the hot young teens of hollywood but it is also a huge issue of young teens in America. Rumors start and things usually get out of hand. Being thin is in. So everyone wants to be thin, at any risk. It is dangerous and unhealthy. It is also potentially deadly. People have died from starvation. But the sad part is when people don't understand how this is an illness of the brain. Many anorexics became anorexic because it is esentially the only thing in their life that they can control. Some are in abusive relationships and others just live out of control lives. I've known several anorexics on my cheerleading team. It is a sad and scary thing to see a friend go through something like that.
